D14: Online Riddle

Introduction

Welcome to the D14 Online Riddle. This riddle is mostly text based and fully online, with no external applications needed. I realize it has been done many times before, but it's always nice to try something new, so here's my contribution.

Premise

On each level, you will be presented with some text, and perhaps an image. You'll need to find the answer to the riddle using the text shown, as well as the source code of the page. You can then advance to the next level by pasting the answer into the URL after /d14/.

There are comments in the source code that tell you to ignore all code above and below certain points. You can fully trust these markers, but anything between them is part of the riddle, and may be there to throw you off the scent!
